Returning from an operation in Colombia that led to the arrest of a senior IRA official involved in drug and arms trafficking, Geordie Sharp, a sergeant in the 22nd SAS, is entrusted with two new top-secret missions by the Ministry of Defense. These "grey" operations, apparently unrelated, will be denied by the government in the event of a dramatic outcome. Leading a subversive action unit of the Regiment, Geordie Sharp must first eliminate a high-ranking Iraqi dignitary who has taken refuge in Libya. Without leaving the slightest clue as to the identity or nationality of the killers. Back in England, he will immediately have to organize the assassination of a prominent politician. If he fails, his 4-year-old son, kidnapped by the IRA, will be executed.
