Why are your books so cheap?
Publishers sometimes overprint books and can't sell all of them to standard bookstores. These are also known as remainder books. As they are trying to clear their stock, we receive these copies at a discount, which we then pass on to you.
Do you sell secondhand books?
No. Our books are all brand new.
What do you mean by minor shelf wear and remainder marks on some of your items?
We sell remainder / overprint books. Remainder Books are new, unread books that the publisher sells-off in bulk to reduce excess inventory. In some cases, the publisher may place a mark (a small line or dot) on the edge of the book to identify it as a Remainder Book. The books may also display minor shelf wear. Below are four examples of books with minor shelf wear¹ and remainder mark².
How long does it take to receive my books?

It will usually take only about 3 to 5 business days for your favorite books to reach you after we have confirmed your order.

Note: Due to an overwhelming amount of orders do expect shipment delays.

How do I locate a book?

We have a wide selection of categories and items that may be overwhelming. To make it easy for you to shop, you can search through the items using either one of these three (3) options:


- Search Field

Key-in book title or author or ISBN or keyword into the Search field found at the top of our page and then press the 'search' button (magnifying glass icon).


- Top Drop-down Menu:

We have an extensive list of categories and sub-categories found on the top of the page, with  drop-down menus. Just move your mouse pointer over each category and click on the categories or sub-categories you want.


- Side Menu:

Once you are browsing inside each product category, the left sidebar will appear and you can opt to shop by categories and sub-categories. Just move your mouse pointer over until the word/bar/icon is highlighted and click. 

Do you accept orders from outside Malaysia?
Yes, we do. For further enquiries, you may also contact our friendly Customer Service support@bookxcess.com
How long does it take to receive my books?
For domestic order, it will usually take only about 3 to 5 business days for your favorite books to reach you after we have confirmed your order. For overseas order, delivery will typically take 5 business days or more than 14 business days depending on country of destination. The tracking number will be given via e-mail upon dispatch so that you can go online and check the delivery status.
What should I do if the book I received was damaged or is not the one I ordered?

If you have received a faulty or damaged item or the item is not what you ordered, please inform us at support@bookxcess.com within 2 days from the date of the receipt book. It may take approximately 5 to 10 business days for us to organize collection and receive the returned item.

All items will be inspected on return, so please make sure it’s packed properly and can’t get damaged on the way. Upon receiving, we will inform you and exchange will be made in 3 to 5 business days. We will refund your payment including the postage cost if the item is no longer available but after the damaged item or wrong item returned to us.


The above procedures do not apply to our International Orders. If you have received a faulty or damaged item or the item is not what you ordered, please inform us at support@bookxcess.com within 5 business days from the date of the receipt book. All International Orders will be handled on case to case basis.

How do I place an order?

Step 1: Select the book(s) of your choice,

Step 2: Click on the “Add to cart” icon,

How will I know if my items have been processed/delivered?
After you have checked out, you will be notified via email regarding the status of your order. After it has been shipped, another email will be sent to you with the tracking number, which you can use to track the status of your items at the respective courier website. Details will be provided to you on how to do this in the same email.
Can I cancel/change an order after I have confirmed it?
As we seek to send the items to you as soon as the order is confirmed, it may be difficult to cancel the order after it has been confirmed. However, exceptional cases will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis.
Can I place my order over the telephone?
It is much more convenient to buy your favorite books through our Internet store, and as such, we do not accept telephone orders.

Can I pay by cash or bank-in the payment?
We only accept payment via credit cards, debit cards or e-banking from participating banks supported by eGHL. If you wish to pay using other payment mode, please contact us at support@bookxcess.com

What are the payment methods accepted?
You may choose to pay for your purchases through a variety of options on our eGHL Platform, including via e-banking (FPX) and Credit Card.
