The Living Room

With permission from the bedroom, the living room has always enjoyed the status of being the main room of a home. This is because it happens to be the place where family and friends gather togather and the place where you spend most of your time. Since ancient times, living rooms were typical of upper class mansions and because of their importance they were reserved for banquets and gala balls. With the increased quality of life in developed countries and the emergence of of the middle class, the concept of the living room was modified and the original meaning of sitting room or family room was added. And even according to homeowners, the licving room has become the place where a succesion of feast takes place.
