European Product Design

We start from the idea of creating products that satisfy human needs. This is a creative activity that must combine both the intended use of that product with the visual appeal necessary for its acceptance by humans. Therefore, technique is as important as creativity. Creating and bringing a new product to market involves two processes: product engineering and market analysis. In this volume, we focus on object design and, in particular, on the highlights of European creation. The selection of projects compiled in this book comes from different creative fields: chairs, lamps, sofas, and items for rest and relaxation, with a clear aesthetic and functional focus, designs that serve to better conserve the environment and not burden it with potentially polluting waste.
